What's the Truth?
It is true that more people of color enter the military than academia or corporate America. But who becomes officers?
People of Color as a % of enlisted men: 30%
People of Color as a % of officers: 12%
The day people of color are properly represented in academia and in corporate america, we will no longer need to rely on the military as a source of secure jobs.
The last 4 times^* US troops were used in battle, they were used against people of color.
