Challenge the Lie$:

Lie #6

"Paying the cost of mergers between multi-billion dollar defense contractors is the responsibility of U.S. taxpayers."

What's the Truth?

When the Lockheed and Martin-Marietta weapons companies merged in 1994, the government offered an unprecedented bonus of $31 million to top executives. Fortunately, socialist Representative Bernie Sanders (I-VT) introduced a measure on the House floor which successfully killed this payment.

Are these executives concerned about defending our country, or about looting the treasury?

The weapons industry is corrupt. Let's use our tax money where it belongs, on programs we really need.
