a guide to resisting conservative attacks on equality and social justice

Did you know that since 1985, antidemocratic organizations have been pouring money -- $20 million per year -- into organizations which work against equality on campus? Now you can find out where this money is going, what it's doing, and how you can fight it!

Conservative student groups receive funding, free publications, and support as they are groomed to become the future spokespeople of the Right. The Right has mobilized its campus contacts in national campaigns such as the assault on affirmative action and the attacks on progressive student activism.

Uncovering the Right on Campus is essential for progressive activists on campus fighting this backlash. It describes common Right-wing tactics, lists key right-wing funders, organizations, and student papers, and explains how you can research and respond to the Right's local connections and actions.

The Center for Campus Organizing is a national clearinghouse founded in 1991 that is dedicated to supporting efforts for democracy and human equality on college campuses. This handbook is the product of five years of research into right-wing campus movements.
